Hello blogosphere!
Good news in a way today -- I managed to maintain my weight even though I made a lot of poor choices this week. At least I didn't go backwards.
Today I did pretty well. I made a nice chicken curry for me and my wife, and managed to convince myself only to have a small bit of seconds. A little bit of "the bad stuff" -- pop tarts for breakfast and a couple of chips at night. But I stayed away from the cookies in the office for world teacher day today, and had some lean leftovers for lunch.
If I can stay on the right track and continue this goodness for the rest of the week, I'm feeling good about the results next Monday. Tomorrow I focus on continuing to make healthy, tasty choices. Fatty foods aren't necessarily tasty, and they won't make me happy. Tomorrow I focus on the good stuff.
