The Beat Goes On

This past week can be summarized in two bullet points:

  • good food (maybe too much!)
  • lots of exercise
We tried out some homemade pizza one night, right down to the dough made in our breadmaker.  It turned out well, but it wasn't quite crispy in the middle.  I'll turn up the heat next time to see if I can fix that up.

Everything went quite well until the weekend.  My squash ladder started on Thursday.  It was great, but I realized I didn't eat dinner at all and was starving when I got home and ate an assortment of crappy stuff.

Friday night -- hockey and pizza
Saturday -- pizza for breakfast and lunch, and dinner with the in-laws (ribs on the bbq.  tasty but not low fat!)
Sunday -- 5km Toronto Island Tom Longboat Run, and an incredible lunch at The Rectory Cafe.

Basically every day was lots of exercise, and lots of food.  Luckily, I managed to maintain my weight, so I'm still on track for 40 in 40.  This week I'm ready to attack!
